Premier League: Chelsea Still Winless After Home Loss To Brighton
Brighton got a deserved win at Chelsea's Stanford Bridge where they won 2-1 coming from behind as the hosts saw their lead overtaken to lose the game.
Earlier this week, Chelsea for the fourth game in a row, lost on clean sheet to Real Madrid by 2-0 in the Champions League, and the hope that they would find that winning form against Brighton was denied the when Enciso rammed a 30-yard through to beat Kepa Arrizabalaga to the goal.
Conor Gallagher had put Chelsea ahead after his shot was deflected home on Lewis Dunk. Danny Welbeck found that equalizer for Seagulls noddin Pascal Gross' cross home with three minutes left before halftime.
When Brighton finally took the lead from Enciso, 19, long-range shot, Chelsea was in for their third successive winless game under their new manager. For whatever could be the cause, Chelsea have been finding this campaign a challenging one despite huge summer spending.
The loss was Chelsea's first home defeat to the Seagulls and also their fourth home game loss in a row.
