Tomas Tuchel Is Bayern Munich New Manager As Julian Nagelsmann Is Sacked
Bayern Munich has appointed former Chelsea manager Tomas Tuchel as their new manager and sacked Julian Nagelsmann over claims of "fluctuations" in the performance of the club.
The club chief executive, Oliver Kahn blamed the decision to let go of Julian on unsatisfying performance of the team which he said have been "less successful and less attractive" since after the Fifa World Cup in Qatar.
"The big fluctuations in performance have cast doubt on our goals for this season, but also our goals for the future. That is why we have acted now," said Kahn.
In the Bundesliga, Bayern are not doing bad either as they have won all 10 previous game and are second in the league table but by just a point in trail of table leaders, Borussia Dortmund.
Tuchel was also former Paris Saint-Germain manager from whence he joined Chelsea and has been out of job since he left in 2022. Bayern have now signed him to a contract that will run until summer of 2025.
