Premier League: Chelsea Get A Shocker as Simms's Late Goal Level For Everton

Chelsea had a well-deserved should-be win slid off from a late goal by Ellis Simms that ended the game in a 2-2 draw at Stanford Bridge.

Kai Havertz was meant to make the day for Chelsea and his two goals helped put the side ahead of Everton whose resilience kept them through after Abdoulaye Doucoure scored from a header in between Havertz's goals.

Simms was let loose following a lob pass that reached Dyche, who let a pass to him and he latched on with the ball into the box and finished off down bottom left despite being contested and Kepa Arrizabalaga could not stop the shot either.

Meanwhile, speaking of who played best during the game, Chelsea had lovely home game and their attack was sharp but Everton had the game plan working for them at the same time and managed through some late scares from Chelsea.

Chelsea are now midway of the table (10th) and had their efforts to moving up the table snapped by Everton that are only two-point (26pt) away from the relegation zone.
