Premier League: Arsenal Take Big Win Against C. Palace
Arsenal are having a comfortable lead on the table with eight points clear after claiming a thrilling 4-1 home victory against Crystal Palace at Emirates Stadium.
Palace's woes are not looking any good after the sacking of their former manager Patrick Vieira two days ago they yet remained winless in 13 consecutive games.
Gabriel Martinelli put Arsenal ahead following Bukayo Saka's cross and Saka doubled the lead two minutes before halftime. It was not after Granit Xhaha scored the third for Arseanl after a one-two ball with Trossard Odegaard that Palace scored their only goal from Jeffrey Schlupp's tap in.
Saka completed the scores for Arsenal with the fourth and volleyed home a low-cut across toward him from Kieran Tierney from inside the box. The goal was his second scored in the game.
Mikel Arteta, whose team was knocked out of the Europa League by Sporting Lisbon, have now secured their 22nd Premier League wins this season. That trailed their previous club-record of 28 league game wins under former manager Arsene Wenger.
