Premier League: Arsenal Take Big Win Against Fulham
Arsenal have extended their league table lead to a comfortable five-point lead after thrashing Fulham 3-0 at home with Leonardo Trossard inspiring all the three goals for the side.
Initially, Fulham did not seemed that much of a threat to their visitors that had the best of the game domination and, right from the first half, Arsenal already had all the three goals needed to keep them through the game. Fulham could not change the fate of the game for the remainder of the game.
Trossard nearly the side ahead from Antonee Robinson's own-goal but VAR ruled that he was from an offside position. Relentless Arsenal later got ahead when centre-back Gabriel headed home Trossard's cross following a corner in the 21st minute.
Gabriel Martinelli was later let allow for header despite being challenged and nodded in Trossard's cross and doubled the lead before Martin Odegaard wrapped it up from a brilliant control of Trossard's cross inside the box and rattled home the third goal in the added minutes of the first half.
Aaron Ramsale was later faced threats from the hosts after the halftime break as Tosin Adarabioyo's header following a corner struck the woodwork and, early before that, Ramsale had saved Bobby de Cordova's shot from inside the box.
Besides Arsenal sitting atop the table, the game was their fifth consecutive away from home London derby and they have won all the games without conceding a goal.
