Antonio Conte Leaves Tottenham By "Mutual Agreement"
Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has left the club after a "mutual agreement" was reached between both parties, the club revealed on Sunday.
"We can announce that head coach Antonio Conte has left the club by mutual agreement," Spurs confirmed. "We thank Antonio for his contribution and wish him well for the future."
Conte's exist is following the side multiple woes which includes getting knocked out of the FA Cup and Champions League. He has since their 3-3 draw against Southampton being very outspoken against his team which he reportedly has found to be "selfish".
On top of that, the Italian manager is unsettling with the team's failure to remain in top four of the Premier League and he reportedly has found none other to blame for their trophy-less stint since 2008 than the players.
The 51-year-old contract originally runs until summer, and now that the contract is terminated, the club has also confirmed that Cristian Stellini will replace him for the remainder of the season while Ryan Mason will be the assistant head coach.
