Champions League: Kingsley Coman's Goal Cause PSG To Lose To Bayern Munich
Paris Saint-Germain will have work to do in their second-leg match after losing 1-0 at home to Bayern Munich in the Last 16 of the Champions League.
Both sides played impressively well in both halves and Kingsley Coman's goal only awakened PSG but to no avail as two goals later scored by Kylian Mbappe were ruled out for offside position.
After Bayern had dominated most of the first half, Coman netted the first side-footing home from inside the area Alphonso Davies' cross after halftime break. Mbappe gave Bayern the comeback needed but Nuno Mendes was found in the offside position and the goal was canceled.
Lionel Messi also had a lofted chance but his shot was deflected off and on the second occasion he had a chance Benjamin Pavard dropped him near the edge of the box and he was red-carded for second yellow card offence.
Most of the last minutes was dominated by PSG and their opponents held them off to make away with the maximum points. PSG will need to win their next match on clean sheet to qualify for the next round and keep their first Champions League title hope alive.
