Champions League: Karim Adeyemi Leads Borrusia Dortmund To Beat Chelsea
Chelsea had themselves edged out by Borrusia Dortmund in a 1-0 away loss and will have to win on a cleansheet to make it past Last 16 after suffering setback in the first-leg.
Karim Adeyemi was the star of the day for Dortmund for having to score the winning goal after they had played through a goalless first half. Chelsea had a sensational attempt at the goal before falling behind when Joao Felix's shot struck the goal frame and bounced off into safety.
Meanwhile, the goal scored by Adeyemi was remarkable as he latched onto the ball through half field, rounded Enzo Fernandez and then rounded Kepa Arrizabalaga before tapping the ball into an empty net.
The victory will be the Bundesliga side's first win against a team from Premier League in the UEFA Champions League since 2014 - their last was 2-0 win against Arsenal.
Chelsea will have to undo the setback suffered in this leg and avert having to be eliminated in the knockout ties of the Champions League for four successive seasons.
