Premier League: Man United Continue Win Spree With Defeat Of Bournemouth


Bournemouth stood no chance with Manchester United as they were defeated 3-0 at Old Trafford and the Red Devils maintained their comfortable position in the top four. 

United had the better side of the game but there was not to mention the multiple brilliant saves by goalkeeper David de Gea, who stopped Bournemouth from making a shocking comeback from behind in the second half. 

Casemiro delivered the opening goal tapping home Christian Eriksen's cross from a free-kick and Luke Shaw doubled the lead after break as he side-footed in the goal Alejandro Garnecho's cross from inside the area. 

A fired up Bournemouth later put United's defense to the test with multiple strikes from close range especially the ones from Philip Billing and Jaidon Anthony and were all stopped by David de Gea. 

United soon regain their form and after some missed chances Marcus Rashford sealed the victory with the third goal from Bruno Fernandes' pass. 

Red Devils finished the game for their fourth consecutive home league game win without being scored against and consolidated on their position in fourth on 35 points leveling up with Newcastle United who are third.
