Premier League: Liverpool Humbled At Brighton's Amex Stadium
Solly March scored thrilling double as Liverpool were humbled by Brighton after losing 3-0 at Amex stadium and further jeopardised their chance of coming up the table.
Liverpool losing the game left them with 17 points beneath the Champions League qualifying top four and the defeat was their first back-to-back league game loss in this campaign.
The second half followed a dismal performance from Liverpool as Solly put Brighton in the lead by scoring twice within seven minutes soon after the halftime break - the opening goal was following a Joel Matip which Brighton made the most of.
Reds' defeat was sealed late into the game when March's headed pass got to Danny Welbeck, who inside the area, flicked the ball over Joel Gomez before he slammed it past Allison for the winning goal.
Jurgen Klopp's men posibility of recovering from behind was impossible as just nine minutes was remaining to play. The victory was Brighton's first home league game defeat against Liverpool since 1961 and extended their wins to fifth in seven league games.
