Premier League: Harry Kane Shines On 300th Appearance As Tottenham Beat Crystal Palace
Harry Kane made his 300th Premier League appearance worth playing by leading Tottenham to ruthlessly thrash Crystal Palace 4-0 at White Hart Lane.
Totenham turned the tide of conceding the first goal to their opponents in the past 10 games and claimed a cleansheet against Palace as Kane contributed the first two goals for the side after they had been held down through a goalless first half.
Palace's resilient came crumbling after Kane from a close range nod in Ivan Perisic's cross for the opening goal and doubled the lead smashing home Bryan Gil's cross after a one-two pass between both players.
Spurs remained fired up as Son Heung-min's pass inside the area was finished off by Matt Doherty for the third goal and the Korean forward followed up scoring the fourth goal capitalizing on a defensive error from Marc Guehi inside the area.
Palace were impressive in the first half and Wilfried Zaha inspired a strike with a pass that set off for a strike from Jordan Ayew but was saved by goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
Kane now closes in on becoming the club record goalscorer on 264 goals and trailed the record holder Jimmy Greaves by two goals.
