Jorginho Leaves Chelsea For New Club
Italian midfielder Jorginho has completed his transfer to Arsenal after Chelsea confirmed it has agreed to £12million deal with his new club on Tuesday - January transfer window deadline day.
Arsenal are currently the EPL table leaders and Jorginho has already contributed three goals to Chelsea in all competitions in this campaign, and despite his contract having six remaining to run he will join Arsenal on 18-month contract with options for an extension after completing his medical.
Initially, Arsenal's target was Brighton's Moises Caicelo but both clubs were unable to agreed on a deal and Arsenal made a move for Jorginho instead.
Gunners, in total have coughed up for three players in this window amongst which is Leandro Trossard for £21m from Brighton and Jakub Kiwor from Spezia for £17.6m.
