FA Cup: Son Heung-min Leads Tottenham To Fifth Round
Tottenham have got themselves a place in the fifth round having won 3-0 Preston North End with Son Heung-min scoring a brace to see the side through.
Preston, for most of the first half were defensive and able to hold their opponents until their resilience failed them after break time following a long range effort from Son.
Spurs took the lead when Son drilled a 25-yard shot past Freddie Woodman five minutes after halftime and he doubled the lead sending the ball down bottom right post after latching onto Ivan Perisic's backheel pass in the 69th minute.
Preston's defeat was settled as Danjuma Groenelveld swept into the net from close range Dejan Kulusevski's cross from inside the area.
Both goals were Son's first brace in FA Cup in five seasons amd he ended his goal-drought in the competition entered their fourth successive fifth round in a row.
