FA Cup: Arsenal Are Out As Man. City Enter Fifth Round
Manchester City have edged closer to their first silverware in this campaign after winning 1-0 against Arsenal in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Arsenal fought hard for most of the first half and foced some increadible saves from Stefan Ortega until after halftime when Nathan Ake ended the deadlock and put City at the front.
Alvarez's attempted shot that clipped the woodwork rebound to Jack Grealish whose pass found Ake for a curly low-cut shot that beat Ortega to the post.
Pep Guardiola have missed out on Carabao Cup after losing to Southampton and is still in contest for the Premier League title but beating Arsenal might come in handy as time progresses having reached the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The win was the side's first in over a century against Arsenal in the FA (1904) and it also was Guardiola's 18th game win against the London-based side who are in pole in the Premier League.
