World Cup 2022: Brazil Knockout S. Korea To Reach Quarter-finals
Brazil have progressed to the quarter-final and South Korea have been eliminated from the tournament after losing 4-1 to the Brazilian in an entertaining match.
South Korea were not that poor and had wonderful chances from brilliant strikes but only on one ocassion could they beat goalkeeper Allison Becker to the goal. On the other hands, the Brazilian side opened the scoreline early into the goal from Vinicius' strike,
Vini scored the opening from a strike from inside the box in the seventh minute and Neymar Jr. converted a penalty to double before Richarlison lashed home Thiago Silva's pass after a one-two ball to triple the lead half hour into the game.
The Koreans slid further behind as Vini's cross was steered into the net by Lucas Paqueta as the Brazilians took a four nill lead before the halftime break after which the Korean side got a goal from S.H Palk's strike.
Brazil was faced with multiple shots at the target from the Koreans in the second half and goalkeeper Allison lived up to the task of saving the strikes from causing a comeback for the Koreans. Brazil will now face Crostoa in the quarter-finals.
