Premier League: Arsenal Thrash West Ham To Extend Table Dominance

Arsenal maintained strong lead of the table having come from behind to win 3-1 against West Ham United at Emirate Stadium and extend topspot dominance on 40 points.

West Ham were lucky to have an early goal from Bukayo Saka for offside position and made Arsenal wait until after the halftime break to bounce back while they have already taken the lead from a penalty converted by Said Bemrahma midway of the first half.

Saka restored Arsenal into the game as Martin Odegaard's mis-shot got to him and he finished the ball off down bottom right of the goal. Five minutes later, Gabriel Martineli smashed in the net Odegaard's pass from the edge of the box and they took the lead.

Arsenal finished off the victory as a set of passess would found Eddie Nketiah for a neat finish from inside the box and they held on to the lead throughout the remaining minutes.

Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was in attendance to watch his former team beat West Ham as they continued vying for their first Premier League title since their last in 2004.

David Moyes' side are yet just few points sway from the relegation zone and he recorded his 15th away league game loss against Arsenal as West Ham manager.
