Cristiano Ronaldo Officially Joins Saudi-side Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has officially completed his transfer to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr and the contract is set to run until 2025.

Manchester United and the Portuguese forward parted ways following a controversial interview in which the player condemned his former manager Erik ten Hag and the club. The two parties later mutually agreed to terminate the player's contract with six months remaining to run.

Speaking on his move, Ronaldo described himself as ready to "experience a new football league in a different country." The contract is reportedly worth more than £177m in annual salary and it is understood to be the biggest ever recieved in history.

Ronaldo rejoined United from Juventus in 2021 but his returned has not been pleasant for him as anticipated. However, his departure will save the club a huge chunk of revenue as he was earning about £500,000-a-week in wages making the highest earner at the club.
