Premier League: Ivan Toney's Injury Time Goal Lifts Brentford Over Man city

Manchester City could not help not submitting to a 2-1 defeat from Brentford that saw Ivan Toney scoring twice to seal the maximum poximum points for the side at Emirates Stadium.

Toney stood as a formidable threat to City's defense from the start of the game and despite many brilliant save from the hosts' goalkeeper Ederson, he found a wrenching injury time goal by sweeping home a Josh Dasilva's cross to give Brentford the win.

Brendford took the lead early into the game from Toney's strike from a header and Phil Foden restored the game to level scoring by volleying home Akanji's pass in added minutes of the first half. Though, City came in stronger into the game after the break with Ilkay Gundogan nearly getting a goal, Brentford also did the same when Kevin de Bruyne cleared Toney's ball from the crossline to safety.

The loss dealt a blow to City's title race and Arsenal now have the chance to extend their lead if they won their game against Wolverhampton.
