Premier League: Mohamed Salah Stunner Leads Liverpool To Beat man. City
Liverpool have dealt a blow to Manchester City's chase on the table top after a late stunner from Mohamed Salah lifted Reds to seal a 1-0 win at Anfield.
The loss would leave City four points in trail of Arsenal, who claimed 1-0 away win against Leeds United and extended their aggregate points to 27 to the lead the table.
Salah after his attempt at the goal was saved by Ederson, he ended the stalemate without wasting time and raced onto a clearance from Reds goalkeeper Allison. He converted the chance poking the ball into the net past Ederson's shoulder.
City's goal scorer Haaland Erling could not find the back of the net throughout the game but the side had a goal from Phil Foden and was canceled for Haaland's foul on Fabinho. That decision by the referee after consulting the VAR made Pep Guardiola furious.
For the first time, Haaland has failed to score a goal in two consecutive game but he remained the side's and also the league top scorer with 15 goals in ten appearances.
