Champions League: Chelsea Beat AC Milan To Seal First Win
Dominant Chelsea thoroughly thrashed AC Milan 3-0 and earned their first win to move up the table with four points behind leaders RB Salzburg.
Milan's goalkeeper Tatarusanu made some impressive saves but his efforts were not enough to keep Chelsea away from scoring goals as Wesley Fofana slammed home a loosed ball from a rebound shot and put Blues in the lead.
Chelsea finally brought the game under control in the second half as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang poked in James Reece's cross, and five minutes later, James lashed into the net a Raheem Sterling's cross for the side's third goal.
Just as Fofana scored his first goal for Chelsea during game since he was signed to a £70 million contract this summer, Aubameyang's goal also was his first for side in the Champions League.
The goal margin could have been even bigger if not for the canceling of Mason Mount's goal for an offside position just few minutes into the games. Also, Thiago Silva's header from closed range was saved by Tatarusanu before the goals started coming in.
