Champions League: Andre Silva Leads RB Leipzig On Comeback To Beat Celtic

RB Leipzig got the needed leap they deserved from the 3-1 victory against Celtic and moved up to the third on the table as the Scottish Championship side trailed in the bottom.

Christopher Nkunku put the German side in the lead with a brilliant finish following a fast break, but soon after break, a through past from Kyogo Furushi would set Neves Filipe up for a finish and he scored the equalizer.

Just after Leipzig's Szoboszlai's goal was cancelled for Andre Silva being in the line of sight of Joe whilst already in an offside position, Silva later responded with a clinical finish of Joe's clearance error and the side regained the lead. The Portuguese forward followed with the third goal by side-footing a right-footed shot home following a pass from Nkunku.

The German side stood the better chance from the start of the game as Nkunku set off from a fast break and lobbed a brilliant finish over Joe Hart but that effort was ruled out by VAR for an offside position. Moments later, Cletic responded with an offensive and came very close with Kyogo Furushi's header from close range being saved.

Celtic loss was of some sort their own making and should have held on to the equalizer at least. Nevertheless, the Germans were clinical on the counter and successfully ripped through the Scottish side's defense.
