Rapper Coolio Dies Aged 59
American hip hop icon Artis Leon Ivey Jr. otherwise known as Coolio, who is famous for his 90s chart topper Dangerous Minds (Gangsta's Paradise) has passed away, aged 59.
Coolio was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor at his friend's apartment who phoned the paramedics to come to his aid. Unfortunately, the rapper was reportedly pronounced dead on their arrived.
The authorities have reportedly not found any suspicious foul play on his death neither was there any dangerous substances found at the scene. However, the medical service will reportedly establish the cause of the artist's demise after an autopsy is carried out.
The deceased rose to fame in the 90s for the hit song Dangerous Minds and that won him the Grammys for the Best Rap Solo Performance and also Billboard Music Award amongst others.
