Premier League: Leon Bailey Gets Aston Villa Draw Against Manchester City

Manchester City missed the chance to take the top spot of the table following a 1-1 away draw against Aston Villa and will remain in the trail of Arsenal.

Erling Haaland has no stopping yet of his scoring spree being the game goalscorer for City - that was his 10th so far - Villa rendered that effort futile when Leon Bailey scored the equaliser for Villa later in the second half.

The opening goal from Haaland was followed by two more efforts but they were saved by goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. Villa also could have beaten City anyways had the assistant referee not flagged Phillippe Coutinho's goal offside.

Haaland is the league's top scorer with 10 goals and City are getting their money's worth over the £51 million signing of the Norwegian from Borussia Dortmund.

On the other side, it was a massive relief for Stevie Gerrard whose men were booed of the pitch for the midweek 1-0 loss against Arsenal -they have only won a league game so far in this campaign.
