Premier League: Leicester Succumb To Stunning Bounce Back From Spurs
Son Heung-min had a spectacular game with a hattrick for Tottenham Hotspur as they bounced back to thrash Leicester City a massive 6-2 defeat at White Hart Lane.
Leicester started to crumble shortly after taking the lead. Though, James Maddison tried to restore the situation for the side, Winfried Ndidi's poor defending would later cost them the game as Spurs penetrated repeatedly and succeeded.
Youri Tielemans opened the scoring for Leicester from a penalty just six minutes into the game and Spurs responded almost immediately with Harry Kane nodding home Kulusevski's cross and Eric Dier followed with a header for the second goal.
Maddison's stunning curling shot from the edge of the box leveled up the scoring for Leicester but a defender flop from Ndidi would let Rodrigo Bentacur would steal the ball and score the third goal.
Then, Son's curly shots from the edge of the box to beat Danny Ward to the goal twice and Spurs. Two minutes later, a through pass from Kane would set the Korean off for a strike from inside the box following a fast break and completed the hattrick.
Game losses continued to devastate Leicester who is yet to win a game since the start to the season and are at the bottom end of the table with just a point. In the other hand, Spurs maintained unbeaten run under Antonio Conte and have climbed up to second in the table with 17 points tying up with table leaders, Manchester City.
