Premier League: Arsenal Retake Table Lead After Brentford Defeat


 Arsenal have climbed back up to the top spot of the table after beating Brentford at home by 3-0 as Gunners reclaimed winning streak after their first league game loss to Manchester United.

The first goal came in from William Saliba heading home Saka Bukayo's cross from the first corner of the game and the second goal came in before half hour of play from Gabriel Jesus glance header to Granit Xhaka's cross.

Soon after the break, Ferreira Viera completed the scoring with a thrilling left-footed shot from the edge of the box. Arsenal later had multiple chances and converted none neither could Brentford threaten their opponents throughout the game. 

Brentford haven't won any in four league game and have dropped to ninth in the table. Gabriel Jesus has scored in every league game for Gunners except their last game against Manchester United which they lost by 3-1 at Old Trafford,
