Mo Farah Pulls Out of London Marathon

Mo Farah has pulled out of the London Marathon scheduled to hold on Sunday, blaming his decision to withdraw on hip injury.

The six-time world champion revealed that the last 10 days have been really hard for him and he has been suffering from "tightness in his right hip" for which he is currently receiving treatment.

He added; "I've been training really hard over the past few month and I'd got myself back and into good shape and was feeling pretty optimistic about being able to put in a good performance."

Just earlier this month, Farah won the Big Half marathon race in London and has not participated in the London Marathon event since 2019. Though, he has never won the event, his best performance at the event was third in 2018.
