F1 Releases 2023 Calender As Monaco Grand Prix Gets Deal Extension Until 2025
It is going to be a long season for F1 drivers next year as the just released 2023 calendar fixtured 23 races with the return of China and Qatar Grand Prix and also a newly-introduced Grand Prix in Lax Vegas, Texas, United States.
The year calendar was confirmed Tuesday and will follow the same routine with the starting race in Bahrain on 5th March and closing race on 26th November in Abu Dhabi. However, Monaco Grand Prix will also be part of the calendar as the sport governing body extended the race contract for yet another three seasons.
Speaking on the calendar, F1 president Stefano Domenicali described the development as an "unprecedented demand" for F1 races and what is important for the sport now is to ensure "balance right for the entire sport."
"We are very pleased with the strong momentum Formula 1 continues to experience and it is great news that we are able to bring our fans a mix of exciting new locations," said Stefano
