Champions League: Chelsea Lose Opening Game To Dinamo Zagreb

 


Chelsea had a thrilling opening group games of the Champions League season which Dinamo Zagreb earned the most points from following a fast break the ended the match in 1-0.

Dinamo caught Chelsea unaware with a fast break from Mislav Orsic who latched onto the ball from Pektovic's cross and finished off the counter with a brilliant tap in past Kepa Arrizabalaga. 

Newly-signed Pierre-Emery Aubameyang don his #9 shirt for the first time for Chelsea and he did get a goal in in the second half unfortunately it was ruled to be from an offside position.

Arrizabalaga made multiple saves of many attempts from the Croatian side, otherwise Chelsea would have conceded more goals. The English side also made some efforts late into the game and nearest was Reeces James' low-cut that hit the bar.
