Barcelona And Robert Lewandowski Agree In Principle To Deal
Robert Lewandowski is set to leave Bayern Munich after agreeing in "principle" with Barcelona on his transfer this summer on a deal that reportedly worth £42million.
Bayern Munich have not been keen on the player leaving as he has a season left in his contract but he is resolute to leave anyways. In efforts to make up for his exit, the club is understood to be link to Napoli's Victor Osimhen.
The Pole has remained Bayern's top goalscorer for five successive seasons: he joined the club from Borussia Dortmund in 2014. Last season alone, he topped Bundesliga scoring chart with 35 goals, and in all competitions, he scored 50 goals for Bayern.
Confirming the deal, Barcelona president Herbert Hainer in a tweet, described the forward as an "incredible player" and his club will be "incredble grateful" to have in their team.
