Sadio Mane To Leave Liverpool To Join Bayern Munich

 


Bayern Munich are coming for Liverpool forward Sadio Mane and a deal worth £35.1m have been agreed upon between both clubs to offset the transfer. 

Munich are in need of Mane to replace their forward, Robert Lewandowski, who is set to leave for Barcelona. The forward, Mane had also made known his intentions to leave Liverpool when he said in a press conference he would follow calls from his country to leave. 

The transfer is expected to be completed soon and Liverpool will get a fixed payment of £27.4m (€32m) with add-ons of about £7.7m based on his performance and team achievements. 

Mane led Reds to end a 30-year-long Premier League title drought in 2019/2020 season and also played an important role leading the side to win UEFA Champions League in 2019. He also won for his national team recently the AFCON Cup. 

He joined Liverpool from Southampton for £31m with add-ons set for at £2.5 in 2016 and has scored a total of 90 league goals ever since.
