Robert Lewandowski Gets £34M Offer From Barcelona

Barcelona are coming for Robert Lewandowski and have made an offer of €40m (£34.4m) to Bayern Munich, who are not keen on letting the player leave.

Left to Lewandowski, it is time for him to leave Bayern for new challenges despite having a season left in his contract and has informed the club about his desire to leave.

The Bundesliga side, in the other hand, has signed a new forward, Sadio Mane from Liverpool, potentially to replace Lewandowski. Yet, the Polish player is not who they hope to sell this summer being their top scorer according to a statement back in April from one of the club's chief executives Olivier Khan.

Khan described moves as "stupid" to sell a player who scores about 40 goals in all competitions pre season. By the way, Khan is a former Bayern and Germany's goalkeeper.

Meanwhile, Bayern are aware that Lewandowski is not keen on extending his contract with them, but they are understood yet not to have a price tag for him neither have they discussed any fee with his representatives.

Should Bayern hold on to Lewandowski this summer, he can leave the club as a free agent next season.
