Paul Pogba Will Leave Manchester United This Summer
Paul pogba is poised to leave Manchester United as a free agent this summer as his contract will expire in June.
As it is for the 2018 Fifa World Cup winner, there appears to be no contract extension in view and even confirmed his imminent transfer via a tweet expressing his gratitude to the club.
"I feel privileged to have played for this club," he wrote in a tweet. "Many beautiful moments and memories but most importantly an unconditional support from the fans. Thank you."
United, also in a statement, confirmed the midfielder will be leaving in June and described his stint as worthy to be "celebrated" being a player that started with them from the academy.
"It was a low-key end to a United career that brought so many individual high moments," said United. "For a boy that joined the academy at 16 to make over 200 United appearances...Is something that should be applauded and celebrated."
The France international was signed to the club on a world record fee of £89 million from Juventus in a five-year contract in 2016.
