Luka Modric Extends Contract With Real Madrid
Real Madrid midfielder, Luka Modric will remain at the club until the end of the 2022/23 season as he has signed a one-year contract with the club.
Modric had just won this season, the 14th Champions League and 35th League title with the club he joined from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.
He was voted Ballon d'Or winner in 2018 - he beat Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to clinch the title. In the same year, he led Croatia to finish as runner-up at the Fifa World Cup in France.
The 36-year-old has since he joined the club made 436 appearances during which he won three La Liga and five UEFA Champions League with the club.
