Johnny Depp Will Return To Pirates of the Carribean And $300M Deal Is On Table
Johnny Depp is going to be back with Disney and even to his iconic character as Jack Sparrow, now that he won his defamation case of being a domestic abuser of his wife Amber Heard.
Disney is understand to be in talks with Depp on a deal worth $300m for his return to Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and another project on Disney Plus.
The actor was dropped from the character over the lawsuit that was filed against him. Warner Bros. also dropped from his role as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts 3 over the same case in 2020.
Since he has won the defamation case against Heard, Disney are now trying to mend their broken relationship with the actor and are hopeful he can "forgive them", an insider reported.
"The deal is reportedly for Johnny Depp to return as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 6 and a spin-off on Disney Plus series about the early life of the Captain of The Black Pearl," Poptopic garnered.
Depp made his final voyage in the Black Pearl in Dead Men Tell No Tales in 2017 before he was dropped by Disney followed the domestic abuse case in 2018.
