Spain La Liga: Real Madrid Are Champions Of 2021-22 Season

Real Madrid have brought the 2021-22 Spanish La Liga season to a close by winning their 35th league title after beating Espanyol 4-1 and finished the season with 81 points. 

The victory was well-deserved and Espanyol got battered with two goals from Rodrygo in the first half alone. Marcos Asensio added in the third and Karim Benzema wrapped up the victory with the fourth late into the game. 

Until today, it's been three seasons ago since they last won the league title, and so far this season, they have now won two domestic titles and that includes Supercopa de Espana. 

In addition, by winning the title, the club's manager Carlo Ancelotti became the first coach to win league title in five different European Leagues - he won the Premier League title with Manchester City.
