Premier League: Ronaldo Scores 100th PL Goal As Arsenal Beat Man. United

 

Cristiano Ronaldo reached 100th league goal milestone after scoring Manchester United's only goal in their 3-1 loss to Arsenal at Emirates Stadium. 

The Portuguese whose twin son passed away few days ago, pulled one back for United as they trailed their opponents by two goals when he lashed home Nemanja Matic's cross in the first half. He even added in another goal long after but that was ruled out for offside position. 

Arsenal gained the lead very early into game following a defensive error that gave the ball away to Nuno Tavares, who volleyed that lose ball into the net. 

Bukayo Saka doubled the lead after VAR ruled Telles' foul on him a penalty offense but Nketiah Eddie's goal following the rough tackle was ruled out for offside. 

Bruno Fernandes couldn't level the scoring for United following a penalty awarded for Tavares' handball and Granit Xhaka wasted no time smashing home a 25-yard shot home to complete the victory for Arsenal. 

Arsenal swung upward to join the top position four of the Premier League in the fourth (60th) having gained the well-deserved maximum points and dropped Tottenham a place behind them. 

United are yet to recover from the massive 4-0 loss to Liverpool and had defensive issues as the challenges faced during both games.
