Premier League: Eddie Nketiah Nets Brace As Arsenal Thrash Chelsea At Stanford Bridge

Eddie Nketiah led the way as Arsenal claimed 4-2 away victory against Chelsea and restored the hope of finishing season in the top four.

Chelsea found themselves bedeviled by multiple errors that gave Arsenal the loopholes needed to get goals. Gunners were well composed and the pressure that comes with playing away wasn't much of an issue for them.

It all started when Andreas Christensen's weak pass was stolen off him by Nketiah and he latched on for a brilliant finish. Timo Werner soon followed up for Chelsea with the equalizer from a weak shot that was deflected home.

Two brilliant finishes from Emile Smith-Rowes and Cesar Azpilicueta would later level the scores up to 2-2 before halftime but the game went Arsenal's way after the break.

A set of repeated defensive errors gifted Nketiah the chance to pounce in the third goal and Azpilicueta needlessly dropped Bukayo Saka in the box and the forward converted the spot kick to complete the victory in injury time for Arsenal.

Winning the game moved Arsenal up to fifth and are tying up in points with Tottenham, who are the nearest team in the top four.
