Jurgen Klopp Extends Liverpool Contract Until 2026
Jurgen Klopp will be staying longer at Anfield after committing himself to a two-year contract extension and that will keep him at Liverpool until 2026.
Red are on track for a Champion League final appearance after beating Villarreal 2 - 0 at home in the semi-final first-leg tie on Wednesday. In the Premier League, they trail table leaders, Manchester City (80) by a point, and they are the winners of this season's Carabao EFL Cup.
"When the owners brought the possibility to renew to me, I asked myself the question," said Klopp. "Do I have the energy and vibe to give of myself again what this amazing place requires."
Liverpool are set to double their trophy-quest this season as they will face Chelsea in the FA Cup final at Wembley on 14th May.
Klopp continues: "I didn't need too long to answer in truth. The answer was very simple."
