Rotterdam 2022: Felix Auger-Aliassime Wins Title
It is the first tour-level title for Felix Auger-Aliassime after he defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the final of ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament.
Stefanos came into the match on a 5-3 head-to-head meeting with Felix but suffered a 6-4 6-2 straight set defeat. The Canadian who hit 20 winners and had eight unforced error during the lasted for 78 minutes.
Meanwhile, Felix had missed on all eight ATP tour final matches he had reached and won no sets during the matches. However, enroute emerging as the tournament champion, the world no.9 defeated former world #1 Andy Murrat and Britain's no. 1 Cameron Norris.
"It is an amazing day for me to get my first title and especially here," said Felix. "I played my first ATP main draw here a couple of years ago, so it is right I won my first title here."
