Premier League: Wolves End Old Trafford Jinx

Wolverhampton earned their first victory at Old Trafford since 1980 in a 1-0 win against Manchester United with Jose Moutinho powering home a late winner in the last eight minutes.

Moutinho seized the chance given him from a poor clearance by a header from Phil Jones and wasted no time to lash a right footed volley home from the edge of the box and scored his first goal in nearly a calendar year.

Phil headed to clearance a cross from Adam Traore and the ball landed just on Moutinho's path for a strike that beat David de Gea to the goal. Before Wolves got a goal, Bruno Fernandes did strike a shot that clipped the crossbar and Cristiano Ronaldo had an attempt that went just wide.

The loss will the first lesgue game defeat under United's new head coach Ralf Rangnick who took over from Ole Gunnar Solksjaer as the interim manager.
