Spider-Man: No Way Home Takes Massive Gross On First Weekend

As box office is gradually seeing films doing great both in the domestic and international market, Spider-Man: No Way Home is the new film that came for a big show of gross on its debut. Guess what, the Marvel tentpole film had a massive haul from both markets to cross half-a-billion-dollar benchmark on opening weekend.

Tom Holland's standalone film made bold entry with a massive $253m in the domestic market. That performance alone defiled every projected gross and had to be reviewed after its hauled in $121m on its first day.

Considering films performance so far this year, No Way Home took the top spot for the biggest grosser in the domestic market this year. While you might think its ended at that, the film yet went on to rake in even much more money overseas.

With $334.2m recorded for the film overseas, it overall gross now stands at $587.2m to be the third all-time biggest debut after Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame

Nonetheless, No Way Home was expected to make a big entry at the box office considering the number of stars like Jamie Fox (Electro) and Benedict Cumberbatch (Doctor Strange) who returned in the installment. However, it did despite the new Covid-19 variant Omicron outbreak.
