Premier League: Ralf Rangnick Gets Perfect Start With Man United

Ralf Rangnick got off to a perfect start at Manchester United with a 1-0 win against resilient Crystal Palace and he couldn't help but describe it as an "exceptional" game.

Brazilian midfielder Fred gifted the team the loan goal that ended Palace's resilience to at least earn a point from the game. Mason Greenwood set the chance with a lay-off for Fred to lash home from 20-yard.

"I am very happy with the way the team performed, especially the first half," said Ralf speaking of the outcome of the game.

He said: "The clean sheet was the most important part. These are things we must improve. We need to keep clean sheets."

Ronaldo also made his presence felt during the game and had his volley shot blocked off by Marc Geuhi. In another occasion Fred had an attempt headed out to safety. Over all, United had the better control of the game than Patrick Vieira led side.
