Xavi To Become Barcelona New Manager
All that Xavi Hernandez might have wished for regarding Barcelona head coach might just be turning out to be true, as the Qatari club he currently manage, Al Saad has agreed to allow him return to Spain to manage his former club.
Al Saad also revealed that they have reached an agreement with Barcelona and the release clause in his contract has been paid for. The Qatari side also confirmed in a statement released via Twitter that they were just aware of Xavi's desire to leave a few days ago.
"Xavi informed us a few days ago of his desire to go to Barcelona at this particular time, because of the critical stage his hometown club is going through, and we understand this and decided not to stand in his way," the club tweeted.
Xavi made his intentions to return to Barcelona known when he opened up publicly that he would like to return to his hometown to become the club manager. Barca have not won the league title for two seasons and won their last Champions League in 2014/15.
