Tottenham Appoint New Manager
Antonio Conte couldn't be more than qualified for Tottenham job following the sacking of Nuno Espirito on Monday over the club's slow start to the season. He is now Spurs team manager.
The Italian manager is an acquaintance of the Premier League and even won the silverware during his spell at Chelsea on his debut season in 2016-17. He didn't stop at that, he left the league to join Italia Serie A and led Inter Milan to win their first League title in eleven years last season.
With what he did at both clubs, he couldn't be more qualified for the job. Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand believed the club is "lucky" to have even landed him at the club now that they are struggling to get their feet on the ground this season.
Spurs lost seven games out of 10 previous games under Espirito and left the club in ninth place. Making matter worse for the exited manager, Espirito was his men's 3-0 loss at home to Manchester United on Saturday.
