Manchester United Fire Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left Manchester United as he was sacked just hours after Red Devils' woeful 4-1 away defeat to Watford.

The club's owners, Glazer family called an emergency virtual meeting immediately after the team lost to Watford as United lost for the fifth time in a row in league games.

United are seventh with 17 points in the table but the lost to Watford brought the curtain down of his job at the club as Times reported after the match that top on the meeting agenda is amount to pay him as compensation.

"It is with regret that we have reached this difficult decision," the club announced. "While the past few weeks have been disappointing they should not obscure all the work he has done over the past three years."

There has not been any candidates shortlisted to takeover from Solksjaer, however, rumours have it that Zinedine Zidane might be top on the priority.
