Eight Died At Travis Scott Astroworld Festival

This, obviously, wouldn't be Travis Scott's best wishes for his sold-out Astroworld Festival in Houston, as eight people died and several others wounded following a stampede on the opening night.

More than 50,000 people were understood to be at the venue in NRG Park but things went tragic when multitude of audience surged towards the stage while the rapper was performing. The sudden change in attitude of the crowds led to the stampede.

Besides eight people that died as a result of the surge after eleven persons were rushed to the hospital by the paramedics, hundreds sustained injuries among which were children.

Whilst Travis kept performing, he tried to stop the performance to allow him help out but since the beat kept going he was seen phoning for help to come to the crowd's aid.

"Security. Somebody help, jump in real quick," Travis was seen asking for helped whilst the sounds kept on blasting to the air. "Somebody jump in. Common. Common."

Kylie Jenner, who is pregnant with the rapper's second child, was also at the festival but she was not in the crowds . Before the incident, she had posted pictures from the festival on her Instagram.
