Dwayne Johnson Declares Interest To Be Next James Bond
There has been many speculations about who will be best fitting for the role of 007 in the James Bond film as Daniel Craig made his final appearance in No Time Die. Actors like Idris Elba, Richard Madden, Henry Cavill, and Tom Hardy are amongst those once linked to the conveted role.
Amidst this, a renowned American and Fast & Furious star actor, Dwayne Johnson has opened up on his desire to take up the role adding that his grandad is his inspiration for that. Should anyone have a doubt that he can do a good job, he recalled his grandad starring as a villain in 1967's You Only Live Twice.
Following in his grandad's footsteps is the major motivating factor for the Jumanji star. Nevertheless, he would prefer to take up a much bigger role that his grandad and be the James Bond. Nothing else.
"Yes, my grandfather was a Bond villain in You Only Live Twice with Sean Connery. Very, very cool," he said. "I would like to follow in his footsteps and be the next Bond I don't want to be a villain. Got a be Bond."
