Champions League: Ronaldo Sees Man United Through To Last 16


Cristiano Ronaldo is giving Manchester United their money's worth. Though, the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer under whom he was signed back to the club has been fired, yet he remained that strategic hitman that's keeping the team alive in the Champions League. 

United hauled in two goals for the maximum points against Villareal on their turf and sealed the top spot with 10-point that booked their place in the knockout stages. 

Ronaldo ended the deadlock in the last 15 minutes and plundered in his sixth goal in the competition and that put United in the lead. He later followed up with an assist that made the second goal happen with a through pass to Jadon Sancho for a smash into net. 

The Portuguese was sometimes this week, considered to be a wrong signed for the ousted manager, Solksjaer but scored his sixth goal to prove himself to be worth the deal. He remained the highest goalscorer for the team in Group F which they led by a point over Villarreal as both teams made through to the Last 16
