Premier League: Tottenham Get First Game Win After Three Losses

Tottenham has put an end to three games losses in a row by beating Aston Villa 2-1 at White Hart Lane and Heung-min Son was the facilitator of the two goals that saw the team through.

The team captain, Harry Kane did make his presence felt and his closest chance to getting a goal was parried off from close range following a fast break.

Lucas Moura seemed to be the goalscorer for  the second goal but Matt Targett latched onto Son's cross from inside the box and poked the ball into the net instead. However, Oli Watkins' goal in the second half by tapping home Targgett's cross earlier was worth it the equaliser.

Spurs did controlled the game and had led the scoring from the first half when Pierre Hojbjerg smacked home a right footed shot from inside the box following a through pass from Son.

There were multiple chances that could have handed Spurs more goals but the closest of them was Kane's and it was also that moment Villa's goalkeeper showed his brilliance by denying Kane getting a goal.
