Mauricio Pocchettino Hopes Kylian Mbappe Would Stay At PSG


Paris Saint-Germain are hoping that Kylian Mbappe would "change his mind" and stay at the following his request to leave in the summer. 

The club manager Mauricio Pocchettino made his position on the possibilities of the forward known amidst the the player's interest to pursue a move to Real Madrid. However, he maintained that the ball is in the player's court to decide his future. 

Whilst he was speaking to a Spanish media El Chiringuito, he opened up of the fate of the 23-year-old that the player "will make the decision that he has to make" regarding his future. However, he hopes the club will do whatever possible to ensure he stays and make him "change his mind" on leaving for Real in the summer. 

Mbappe is one of the biggest signings in the team besides Neymar Jr. and newly-signed Lionel Messi, who was expected to be a motivation to keep the Frenchman in the club. 

Pocchettino returned to football management over a season after he lost his job at Tottenham Hotspur. Thomas Tuchel who stepped down as the team's manager opened the opportunity to the Argentine to return to his career at PSG.
